My Trinket Room

Meet the collector ✮⋆˙

Hi, I'm Madelaine owner and founder of My Trinket Room! I'm the trinket hoarder and keychain curator behind my tiny shop. The making of My Trinket Room was never just about business or extra income. It was about finding a sense of purpose in a time where I felt like I had none.

I didn't continue school. I became a teen mom and for a long while it felt like nothing in life was really mine. That is-Until I discovered trinkets.

What started as a small shopping habit turned Into something deeper. Collecting gave me joy, comfort and a reason to look forward to small moments again. I fell in love with the charm of tiny things, and eventually I wanted to share that joy with others!

I Specialize in finding one of a kind pieces from Japan especially ones that feel nostalgic, weird, adorable, or just plain underrated. whether it's a vintage Sanrio clip, a capsule toy from Tokyo side street, or a sparkly no name guy who gives off main character energy, I absolutely love giving forgotten items a second life.

My favorite part about running the shop is absolute The Hunt. I absolutely love searching for new trinkets. There's something so satisfying about finding the weird, the cute and the unexpected-and knowing someone out there is going to fall in love with it too.

⋆˚࿔ My Top 5 Favorite Characters⋆˚࿔

① The Dog Artist Collection
From: Japan

Why I love them: nothing much to say I just love dogs.

② Monchhichi

From: Sekiguchi

Why I love them: Soft, strange, and deeply nostalgic. I love how uncanny they are—part baby, part monkey, all comfort.

③ Peach Riot

From: Indie/Japanese gacha artist series

Why I love them: A perfect mix of sugary cuteness and Y2K chaos. The colors, the edge, the glitter.

④ Pinky Street

From: Vance Project (early 2000s collectible dolls)

Why I love them: They feel like the cool girls from old anime intros—mod, mismatched, and way cooler than me.

⑤ Baby Coco

From: Baby Einstein series

Why I love them: Soft pastel perfection. There’s something so sweet and floaty about them, like a dream you barely remember but wish you could crawl back into.
